Midaco has developed a revolutionary automatic pallet changer add-on for an easy and efficient upgrade that enables your vertical machining center to provide the benefits of a horizontal. The trunnion system includes one 4th-axis actuator assembly and two trunnions. The trunnion is clamped onto the pallet and is transferred into the machining area via the MIDACO automatic pallet changer and rotates 360 degrees for milling on five sides. You can increase the versatility of the trunnion system by adding a Vertical Rotary Faceplate (VRF) with precision t-slots or for use with a chuck.
